I love "You're a pixie? Like Tinkerbell? If I say I don't believe in fairies, will you keel over? Can I have some pixie dust? Are you hooked on PixyStix? (okay, I am hooked on those..) Can I see your wings? Aren't you supposed to be like, three inches tall or something? I was expecting a midget/little person, not someone of average height. You're not pretty enough to be a pixie. What? No blonde hair or skimpy outfits?"

I hate it when people judge something they don't really know about. I don't tell people I'm a therian because they would think I should be in a padded cell.

I have a lot of reasons for not telling my friends about being therian. Firstly; because it takes a long time to explain, since their all about as inteligent as a five day old dead rat (their attentions spans are about the same to, so I don't have a prayer as far as telling them goes)
The stereotypes some people come up with really do bug me, though. I'm not exactly sure what you'd call me, but I'm pretty sure I'm not a tree-hugger. It pissed me off when they bulldozed the feilds behind my house to make more suburbs, but I was more ticked that more people were moving in so close to my space. Other then that, I'm actually more violent then peaceful. Between a) sitting in a circle with my friends and talking about my problems, or b) doing or watching something violent (Ex. a fairly bloody cartoon or ripping down walls in the most destructive way imaginable.) I don't think I'm stereotypical at all. A little screwed up in the head, but thats only because I've got a whole 'nuther world up there, filled with many a nightmarish creature that my parents would never approve of. (Working on writing some of my stories about said world now, actually. maybe I shouldn't be working on all six at once... seriously, I'll be suprised if any of them turn out less then 400 pages.)
