This a rant about my Mother. I can't believe this, the same pattern has been going on since I was 10 and she still does it. First she drinks Odouls, then BudLIte then regular beer, then she begin to drink stong liquer, and then still stronger alcohol until she ends up in the back of a cop car and she wonders "how could this happpen?". Because you are too much of a moronic cretin to see the pattern that everyone around you can see. You are supposed to learn from your experiances not do the same thing over and over again.

I understand your frustration...but stopping this can be similiar to trying to quit smoking...it's not easy. No one can change anything except for that person themselves...they have to want it to end. I used to be a teen age alcoholic....then one day i woke up and said NO MORE! This is what your mom has to do also and stick with it. I wish you and her luck.

Years ago my mother had similar problems. She could stop but would start again whenever the stress with my father got to be too much. It was her way of hiding from everything she felt she couldn't control. Grim is right, she is the one who has to want to stop. But there are organizations like Al-Anon/Alateen www.al-anon.alateen.org/where you can find support from other teens going through the same situations. And of course you are welcome to vent here.
