I read an article recently that discredits all Orbs caught on film. Do you feel that those photos you have with orbs everywhere is actually proof of paranormal activity? Or can you distingush between dust, pollen, rain drops, snow flakes or a real spirit?

I have never seen an orb photo that didn't make me suspect it was a mundane film problem, water droplets, or other mundane interference.
Even if a spirit could somehow cause an image to appear on film, it would be whatever the spirit wanted to put on the film--not a picture of the spirit itself. It'd have to get into the camera and play around with light.

I think most of the pictures with orbs could be discredited as dust. Then there are those that I've seen were movement is actually captured on the photograph that clearly displays a path or trail behind it. That is definitely something other than dust. What it is is another story.

Well I've been doing a lot of reading and talking with other paranormal researchers and the majority feel that a Spirit Orb is always shaped as a sphere or a ball and it MUST look as it is emitting its own light by giving off a slight "glow" A Spirit Orb can be in color or be white, but they are never brown or gray. The orb should be off by itself or in a very small group of 2 or 3.
Photographs with a large amount of gray or foggy looking orbs are usually false-positive photos. (A false-positive is when an anomaly looks like a ghost but it not) And the photograph should have been taken with NO LIGHT SOURCE in the frame. Photos with the sun or lights in the background most often contain lens flare and are not spirit orbs.

I just bought (and am about half way through) the book "How To Photograph The Paranormal" By Leonore Sweet, PH.D. It covers this subject in nearly microscopic detail and may be useful to anyone interested in this subject. Great book so far, really helpful. LOADS of example photos in black and white and color!

Orbs are o.k. but they shouldnt be used to deside if a haunting is happening.Mainly because it truely is about 50/50 The determining factor at least with video is does the orb have a noticable flight path.Dust will kind of hang there and then start settling downward where as a bonofied orb will turn, dart up then appear to go right through a wall. If you and your team are on the ball though whomever is running the EMF meter should be able to verify whether or not there were any EM disturbances in or around the area that an orb is captured on film.
PEACE OUT
