Now I know what everyone was talking about when they said I'd go into withdrawal after the gathering. I miss everyone so much.
I feel like a new person since I left. I had never before met a group of people who could take me in as one of their own and love me unconditionally. Whether any of you like it or not, you're my new family. I love you all!
One last thing... Crankenstein, go easy on the hugs next year; the last bear-hug-of-death you gave me on my way out bruised my ribs in a few places. But on a positive note, every time I wince in pain, I smile and remember all the fun I had. Just watch out for my hugs next year *evil grin*

Dude, I also had a blast and everyone was so nice. I was a little apprehensive for the first 5 minutes, but everyone made me feel so welcomed!
LOL, Miriam remembered you, when we first got there, you were outside on the phone and waved to us, while Lupey carried our suitcases!
A greater bunch of people I could have never met.
I really can't wait till next year.
OH and Don, we were thinking you need to come to Chicago for your B-Day!!!

Hey Don...i got no problems with you being a part of the family..it's all good  That goes for all the new ppl i meet at EM....it has become a natural occurrance in past years. Glad to see everyone had such a great time  |

For me withdrawal can be almost a physical thing. With all of us scattered across the US, Canada and Europe it makes it tough to get to see everyone on a regular basis. And when we spend a whole week together its more than just bonding. Hell I shouldn't call it a gathering, cause its more like a family reunion.

I'm really sorry I missed it but life or not school must go on. There was just no way I could carry this cantankerous monster with me up there (my computer) and without it I couldn't have gotten my work done. Believe me come spring of 2008 I am there!!!
