I have been told on many occasions that dragons were my protectors and mine to call for help. I have dreams of a dragon as a mate of mine. He is Red and Black and I know I haven't meet him yet. I have been reading the posts on the dragon sites and one of the posts was a question about if dragons were vampire in my dreams my mate is also vampire feeding off of me. I was on ebay a couple of months ago just looking through the items when I say dragon tarot cards no one had bid on them so I did they called to me. I have only used them a couple of times I found my son playing with them one day and snapped at him I never snap. I have dragon necklace and I know I want one made especially I have seen it in one of my dreams. I have even the picture in my mind of the tattoo I am going to get of my dragon. I don't know if I am dragon but I do know they are my protectors I just wish I could find them now not later. Does anyone else have dragons as their protectors? Or am I taking my dreams the wrong way? spritwinds

I also have a dragon "protector" you might call it. I see mine in my dreams mostly, but also when I try to find pictures the same one comes up for me. My dragon is black with random scales of scarlet red and dark purple with fire burning eyes. it is very large, I know that because I see myself (in my dreams) looking up into those fire eyes, but I have to look up very high to look into them. Also, I see it in books that I check out in the library about dragons or books that have dragons in them. So, don't feel alone, I believe I have a dragon protector.

Dragons are somewhat fickle when it comes to humans, they do not trust us, but once they have befriended you that generally stay friends for life and beyond, to a Dragon our friendship last throughout time.
They cant protect us in real life unlike many other Kin types, our best and really only viable outlet is in dreams and astral drifts. but we are somewhat cyptic, and the favoured method of transfer is feeding, they feed from you until you learn from them, a door once opened swings both ways, but one usually has to learn.
Still even when you do they remain to stay cryptic and more than once you'll wake up going "Huh" usually after a triggering event, it'll make sense.
Trust me we are cryptic but only the wise understand us....
Soullie.

That is true, we have a language all of our own and only the truly wise understand our tongue.

between the love of things draconic and the dreams I'd say you have a good basis for accepting that you are dragon or dragon-kin. Only your own self can tell you which one. Yes, dragons can be vampiric. As your "Mate" is black and red (usually a sign it is a "chaos" dragon) it's a good bet he's vampiric and would be if he wore flesh, too. If you want confirmation and conversation with your draconic protectors, ask for it. As you are falling asleep at night, ask the dragons to speak to you in plain language and record your dreams. In time you will be able to tell the difference between a regular dream, a "lucid dream" and traveling at night for lessons.
Enjoy the ride. Arrwyn

I have 5 dragons that protect me and I love them all! They are huge, winged, four footed, elemental dragons. My dragons revealed themselves to me during meditation; so perhaps this maybe a way for you to get in touch with your dragon(s)? My water dragon has a huge ego; so if I tell him how beautiful he is; his energy almost washes me off the sofa. My dragons love for me to give them assignments; such as protecting Obama when he visited here, in Tucson. I have them protect my car and my apartment when I am not home.

I had a thoughtform that eventually sort of manifested itself as a dragon. I tend to actually be a bit of a pushover, and people pick up on that and start bossing me around. I felt this as parts of myself like little ball-shaped invisible organs getting pulled out of me, so on that level I semi-meditated to pull them back.
The pull became dragon-shaped somewhere along the line. I mean, before, it was just something that I did; eventually, it became something that I saw, like a mouth with a long neck out the corner of my mind's eye. Then I'd see that it had horns, or ears, and it was red, and had scales like an Armadillo. The energy it had was very compact, and now when I think there might be something scary in the corner, it just exhales and there'd be this glow that...I guess is fire, but it doesn't look or act like any fire I've seen in the real world.
I figured that was just just a thoughtform, though. Somewhere in my mind, the running story about dragons quit casting them as an adversary and started turning dragons into something to relate to, or ally with.

I've had vivid dreams of dragons before. One in particular stays with me. I was swimming in the ocean in human form playing with baby dragons while a great black dragon surveyed from a cliff above. The young ones were catching fish and trying to feed me some of their catch. I'm sure it means something significant but I've never figured it out.
