I've heard it said that being a dragon is just another form of Therianropy. What do you think?

My understanding of it is that Therianthropy, is what is classed as Part Man Part Beast, most of the Egyptian Dietys would fall into this being human form with animal heads thats what is termed as Therianthropy. here is a good link... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Therianthropy

logically it could be classifies as therian... we are trapped within these bodies while are souls yern for the skies... but, it's how we are indivually... like how some furries are therian, but some are not, and how some witches are wiccan and some are not... its how we choose to be.

I do not think dragons are within the definition of therian. Dragons always have been shape shifters. It is the nature of a dragon to be anything it desires to appear to be but it is always still a dragon. When dragons manifest in the material we are constrained by the laws of consensus physics there by we "must" appear as humans, cats, whales or whatever "skin" we choose to wear.
