If evidence were uncovered tomorrow that dragon's actually existed, what would this mean for you?

hmmm...well for me it would only prove something that I already knew. I firmly believe that dragons in their truest form did exsist at one point in time on this planet and I also believe that it's possible that there are dragons living on other yet undiscovered planets within the universe.
I've also pondered a theory that dragons today, have chosen to live within human forms forgetting how to gain their true forms back and when the human form grows old and eventually dies, the dragon's soul finds another host, perhaps as a dragon form, or perhaps as another human one. For some reason unbeknownst to me I had chosen this form that I am currently.
*hugs*

according to the dragons who communicate with me from "higher realms" there is an animal very much alive in this world that is most like them ... Cetaceans. Whales, and dolphins. Now they don't "look" like the traditional dragon but they are most like the dragons in size, understanding and nature. This is what I have been told.

The biggest question about dragons for me is not whether or not the exist or existed, seeing as how the evolutionary tree of such a creature is so logical when you conect it to the different types of dragons you will see in almost all world cultures. The fact that all would cultures have in one way or another some depiction of dragons is almost good enough evidence for me. The real question of the matter is were the sentient and inelligent like humans or were they mere animalistic predators. There is not true evidence that I have enconunter to support either theory. The idea however of human shaped dragons or human-dragon hibrids is however much less plausable, and i can admit i would be a sceptic of anyone who called themselvs a dragon.

If you mean "existed on Earth", not a whole lot actually, at least in the specific sense, since my dragon recollections are all on other planets (so proving "life on other planets" would be higher in priority). If you mean "existed elsewhere and came here from there", that would be cool; it would mean that what I recall is at least "really" possible, as opposed to possible in the sense of "can't be disproven".

For me it seems like it's very likely that their bones were mostly made of cartilage so that they could fly and be lighter, so wouldn't the bones disintegrate over time? Then if the dragons, having supposedly (at least according to legends and my own mind) been very intelligent and possibly reclusive and long-living creatures, gone into hiding or now live on another plane of existence, we would only remember them in legends. Real events that happened long in the past and were only partly remembered got 'legendized' all the time-- e.g. the mythical place'Atlantis' possibly being a legendized explosion that ripped apart the island of Sicily in Italy or the eruption of Mt. Toba in Indonesia being incorporated into legends.

Or where they died wind scattered the lighter bones making it difficult to identify later. I also agree that your theory that they went into hiding has a ring of truth to it. When they did exist the earth was forming and moving land around so it's possible they were swallowed by a split in the earth caused by an earthquake and died that way hiding their remains. Misty
