Ok, I know that when I first became aware of my being dragon, I had this notion that I was a reddish/maroon scaled fire breather...but a dream I had a few months ago has caused me to re-think all this. I'm still dragon...but the appearance has changed drastically. Is this normal?
In my dream I was human, a female warrior leading men into battle against a beast. Coming into a field there is a lone massive tree (oak) and beneath the tree is a large animal a bigger than a horse but small for a dragon. It was white, furred like a horse, winged and four legs and a tail. It was sort of crouched as if scared but in the dream I sheathed my sword and walked up to it with my hand out. This dragon moved and put it's snout into my hand as if it knew me. I looked at it's eyes and they were my own.
That's when I woke up. Could this be me?

Well, this is all just speculation mind you, I am not a dragon... Maybe during your first awakening, you saw yourself as a red because that's very commonly associated with dragons. You probably also saw yourself as a western as opposed to an eastern. It's only becasue of what you are use to... make sense?? I still get a weird vibe everytime you mention this little white dragon... I saw it perfectly as you described it, and it's looks more western, but in my mind it looks almost pegasus'ish... more of a horsey head than reptilian... does that ring a bell?
At any rate, perhaps this white dragon is just an aspect and not you in whole.
When youhave dreams/visions, your mind can only interpret them how you can see it. Your subconcious says one thing and your concious goes HUH???
So your subconcious has to compensate and show you things that you would be able to understand, mostly in symbolism.
I know this doesn't answer your direct question on whether or not this creature is or was you, but maybe you being the warrior is a symbol of you fighting something that you don't really have to... as in yourself.
Ohhh... look at me getting deep again... yeah for cold pills

Dreams usually tell the truth. Or at the very least they shed light on the truth so we can understand it better. I would say that your dream has done this for you, opened a door to the truth that lies inside you.

I think so too Mairi. Since, I don't ever usually remember any of my dreams but this one in a long while. I am thinking that I must remember it for a reason. I haven't had another one like it since. It also brought to me a sense of calm and more inner peace than I've felt since my awakening in Nov. 2004.

Very well put, Mairi. No one can interpret another's dream. Dreams are our inner selves way of telling the conscious self "hey look at this again!"
What I will say, Acacia is that your dream may not have been a "dream". You didn't mention it but was the female warrior an elf?
As I've mentioned, dragons are shape shifters. Also you may experience many aspects of your being from your own perspective as well as the perspective of others important to the bit of story that comes into your "dreams". You could very well have needed to be seeing the dragon you from the eyes of the warrior you so that you wouldn't get stuck on the red, vengeful. western fire breathing type dragon.
What you saw, in Scathnior's queendom is called a drakmount. It is a type of dragon that was bred for the fighting elves who defend our borders. I am not saying that this is what you are. I'd never do that, only you can decide what you are. Drakmounts are not full dragons in Scathnior's queendom but a hybrid of dragon and flying horse. They are more intelligent than what we know horses to be but they are not as intelligent as the "master dragons" like Scathnior (who by the way is a beautiful white elf when she needs human form).
Again, Acacia, this vision during sleep came to you to make you keep looking. Nothing I or anyone else says about how we perceive this means you are or are not anything in particular. Mairi said it best, this has opened a door inside you that you may better know the truth.
