Can anyone tell me anything about Dragon Magic, like what it is exactly? And how dragons are involved in magic?

I've been involved with two online groups one called Dragon Magic and the other called Dragon Spirit for over two years. As far as I can tell there is no specific "tradition" of magic called "Dragon Magic" it is whatever works for you but with acknowledgement and identity with dragons. Dragons as astral, etheric or god-like beings (some people "worship" dragons as gods) are invoked as the watchtower guardians, as travelling guides in spirit walk work or as the dieties of the service. It depends on how an individual relates to dragons. Except for those who use dragons as diety identification, the advise is to establish your own spiritual connection to the dragons. It is a matter of looking within and facing who and what you really are. Most dragons of my acquaintance are gentle and patient. If a dragon is to guide you, they wait patiently until you acknowledge their existance then they step in and offer their guidance. But not ALL dragons are gentle! Dealing with dragons is very much like dealing with people. They each have their own personalities and you need, sometimes, to walk softly around them. All I can say is .... good luck and may your quest for dragons lead you to wonder.

there is a form of "dragon magick". it is the fact that dragons themselves are magick by very existance, and certain traits come through different dragons depending on their location, age, and background. Each dragon has a connection to one of the elements, this can include spirit, metal, earth/wood, water, air, fire, time. Having the connection allows the dragon to do certain things that are usually down by magick innatly as an authority. (Wizards, witches etcetera have powers, vampyres and kagliphs have wisdoms, dragons have authorities, sprites and fae have wims, all the same thing, abilities by the practitioner, these are just the specific termonology)
The more you understand yourself as a dragon, the more you have authority over your element.

And you've come across this information where? Don't tell us what you know or think you know without telling us where you found the information. Just your say so makes it worthless to others

I heard something quite like that on a research run about two years ago, but I don't remember any of the sites.
Hmm... But it is interesting. I like the termonology, is almost what all of my friends say, except I don't know any whimsical fae. interesting nonetheless.
