Is there such a thing as Blood Magic? If so can you explain a bit about it?

Mmm, well I know some rituals that use blood in it.... I heard some of them we're used as initiation ritual within a vampire house... to shabby that one broke up after its leader died and the replacement had the leaders skill of a coconut!
To shabby!

I've read about some binding and protection spells that require blood for the ritual. I haven't however read anything about a whole magikal discipline involving blood.

I know one person I work with is a Fire Witch and at times spells require blood, as sacrifice to the fire and to "fixate" the spell!

Yes there is a specific formate or tradition of practice that focuses on that of blood work. It's not for the weak of heart, literally! If you have a weak heart, don't practice it. It uses blood as the basis for almost everything. The most simplistic form of it, is that the practitioner uses the blood within the body of self or another or even a cup of blood or container of blood as a focul point to channel their magics. Much in the same way as a wand is used. and also, vampiric arts in and of themselves can be considered a form of blood magic, though it comes naturally to us.
