Do you use it? What tools (if any) do you use? How did you come about to finding that tool you use?
My family's unofficial motto is "Divination comes after multiplication, but before adding and subtracting." Explains my math grades in High School, but anyways. *grins*
I use runes. Have since I was itty bitty, and my mom took me to find the tool I wanted to use. She hoped that her oldest would follow her steps and use cards, but I ended up using the one thing she can't, and cards just confuse the heck out of me. She still bought me a deck for my sweet sixteen, though So it serves her right that if I ever use them, I'm halloring into the living room going "Mom? What's this card mean again?"
Mom took my sisters and I, when we're around 10 or 11, to her favorite store in Indianapolis to find what draws us to it. Out of me and my three sisters, only two of us use anything for divination. My sister that's right behind me wants nothing to do with it, and the youngest still doesn't know what she wants to use. The younger middle daughter uses cards, so mom's happy.
My little brother is still too young (he's 8). He's shown talent for both cards and stones, so who knows? He has a habit for finding my runesets wherever I hide them, and stealing certain ones... Apparently Peorth is his favorite And he likes the "What/who do you see in the pictures?" game we play with him and our tarot decks (my mom collects different patterned ones for different uses). We'll hold up a random card and go "What's this?" and he'll tell us what he sees. If I'm doing a reading for myself, he thinks I'm playing a different version of the game, and interprets the reading in his own way. It's so cute!
