How Goth do any of us feel, and outwardly do we express it, i outwardly i am not, although I'd love to be. but inwardly i am as goth and as dark as the next....... Does or location or work allow or would except...Do we feel compelled to dress down in public, and keep ourself hidden.....or am i rambling.....

I feel more goth than I allow myself to express. My reasons for this are many.
The most important being, I'm at a point in my life where I am developing my professional career - and a goth atire does not lend itself well to a law enforcement environment. Also, since I'm not "out", I try not to attract attention to my vampiric side very often, and dressing goth can do that more than I might like.
But, in any case, I definately identify with the delima. Wish there was a better fix. -Saffyre

I feel more goth than I publicly express it. And most of that is because of where I reside. Black and the heat of the south just don't mix.

I'm probably the opposite -- I like to associate with gothic folks, accumulate gothic accoutrements, generally dress in all black, like darksynth and some darkwave and gothic rock and to a lesser degree industrial music, enjoy gothic or dark artwork (although I am not into horror or much the grotesque), etc.. but I don't think I really have a "goth attitude" so to speak. I am not exactly "a dark person" although I do appreciate night, shadow, and dark things.
