The dates for the 8th Annual Eagles Mere Fall gathering are set for
October 26th through November 1st 2006.
It's a week long event, 6 nights/7 days, held at The Lodge in Eagles
Mere, Pa. Eagles Mere, situated high in the beautiful "Endless
Mountains" of northeastern Pennsylvania, was developed in the 1800's
as a resort for wealthy Philadelphians. They came to the mountain for
the cool clean air and crystal clear waters of the mile long lake.
Eagles Mere remains much the same as it did years ago when the pace of
life was more peaceful and less stressful.
The Lodge is a beautiful three-story log cabin that offers rustic
comfort for forty guests. It's accommodations include 9 bedrooms, 4
full bathrooms/2 half baths, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry
room. The lodge also offers a large hot tub that will seat eight
comfortably, a pool table, ping-pong table and television with
VCR and DVD player. All sleeping arrangements are dormitory style.
The cost of this year's fall gathering will be $200 per person and
covers your lodging and meals for the entire week. If you can only
get away for the weekend, the cost is $150 per person for 2 nights
(Friday & Saturday) The "Deadline" to reserve a spot is September
1st 2006. If you miss the deadline it's $225/$175 at the door.
You may send a check or money order ~ Or ~ you may use Pay
Pal. If you chose to send a check or money order they need to be
made "Payable" to: Mairi M. LaPier and then sent to:
Grave Promotions
