Hey all, this is the notice posted on our branch list for the CO
Gathering... the agenda is tentative and we're open to suggestion. I
know it's a long way for most of you, but if anyone can join us we'd
love to have you.

OK, it's getting close now so thought we should get some kind of
agenda out to everyone. We're planning activities from June 11th
through the 13th, and we're very pleased to have Mairi and Gabrielle
flying out to join us. For any of you who can make any or all of the
activities, we'd be pleased to have you join us, and if you can
manage an overnight (or 2 night) trip to Canon City - since we'll be
coordinating things from our house - please do... if you can make it
but need a place to crash, get in touch with Ari or myself.
Right now, the tentative schedule of activities looks like this:
Friday, June 11th - Dusk/evening trip to the Silvercliffe Cemetery
(this is featured on a few lists of haunted places in CO and
promises to be interesting, plus it's close to Canon, yay!) If time
allows, we'll try to fit in a trip to Bishop's Castle before the
Cemetery.
Saturday, June 12th - A visit to the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife
Center near Divide (so you can meet these wonderful animals in
person) followed by a trip to Cripple Creek to check out the
historic (and many reportedly haunted) hotels and casinos... bring
nickels! FYI, the admission to the Wolf Center is $10 per person...
it's well worth it and supports costs for food and operations.
Sunday, June 13th - Garden of the Gods during the earlier part of
the day, followed by a visit to Manitou Springs. Loads of cool
metaphysical and gift shops, an arcade, great places to eat and fun
things to see. If time allows we may venture up Gold Camp Road a
ways, not only is the view from up there breathtaking but there are
some reportedly haunted spots as well.
So, that's what we have for now... hope at least some of you will be
able to make it...
