Who, if anyone have you told about your being Elven?
What was their reaction?

Only my boyfriend. He's actually the one who helped me discover who I am. He's otherkin too so he was able to sense it long before I had fully figured it out. He found the fact that I'm elven amusing considering what he is, and it helped unlock several memories of our past lives together.

I never actually came out and told anyone.. they all just knew. My brother-in-laws, for as long as I can remember, referred to me as "damn elf", my buddy Sam, when we did start playing D&D, from day 1, has called me "elf"... just elf, as in, "hey elf!" Hmmm... my landlord refers to me as either elf or pixie. He's german so his pixies look like elves. My GF daughter came up to me once and said, you know, you look like an elf without the pointy ears. My dad says I look like one, and if I *am* talking RPG's with someone and they ask, so what do you play, I say elf, and they say, "yeah I can see it". I never confirm nor deny, I just smile and say yeah I know... Of course the funniest thing ever was at EM, I came in with my green leathers and crap and almost everyone who looked at me said, OMG you *are* an elf! I'm like, uh yeah, this is what we look like when dressed traditionally LOL!! So to your question Acacia, I never out right told anyone, they always tell me

Well when folks ask me "What are you really?" I say "Elf.", and when I get a puzzled look I ask "Do you see wings on my back?" and they answer "No." , I say "Well then you can tell I'm not an Angel or a Fairy right? they say "Right!" and that basicaly ends that discussion. And only once have I been told I was only Human... Her name is Carol Gabrielle and she teaches at Portland State University and she flunked me in a senior level capstone class about spiritual awakenings... because I wasn't Human enough for her. Other then that people seem to be OK with what I am.
