The vampire community talks of Slayers or Vampire Hunters, I wonder if the Therian community is plagued with these sort of rumors too? Are they for real or something from a fiction novel?

I've never had a problem with them However while this isnt true of all I think that most of the vamps who complaign about this type of thing are either abnormaly paranoid , liars or so delusional that they probably think they are 200 year's old actualy do sleep in a coffin every day and are scared to death of crucifixes and the sun
I'm not saying my opinion is right or that it applys to the majority but most of the reports \i've heard reguarding it seem fake or at least delusional

I think the number of people likely to overreact if they found out that their neighbor drinks peoples' blood is a tad higher than the number who would do so if they found out their neighbor howls at the moon.
That having been said, there are nutballs out there. There are nutballs who will stalk you because the aliens told them to, so never believe no one will target you because you're 'kin....it wouldn't even take THAT much. <G> It's not particularly common, but it's best to be aware that it could happen. You could be stalked for being a vamp or were--you could be mugged, raped, or murdered for the cash in you wallet, too.
I'd be more concerned about the mugging, it's a much higher probability, but I still don't stand in the middle of an open field during an electrical storm, do you?

I have heard of hunters in every kin type. Vampires, Were-creatures, and even humans hunting humans, like when they attacked me about two months ago for being a Ki and Magick user.
I hear that there is a Hunter type movement, they call themselves the Hunters. When I find there symbols I would post which kind of symbol for which type of kin.
It's true though. There are hunters against therians... their against everyone.

I hope to become a "hunter that hunt hunters."
I know several people in South Carolina ((excuse my spelling)) that hunt Hunters, but they aren't active yet. I thought they were in my last post, but I was wrong. Anyways, Have fun.

On a recent trip out to Arizona, we past by a ranch that had signs up that said No wolves. The sign was like a no smoking sign, less the cig, plus the wolf. About 3 circles to a sign. My thoughts are, if one can hate a creature so much, to be so greedy and angry when they lose a cow, to post huge signs declaring extermination. I would venture to say that if they found you to be a Wolf Therian, they would prolly exterminate you as well. I know I felt threatened just by the energy coming from their stupid ranch. I hope their cows get hoof and mouth. Especially when the conservation programs are reimbursing for cattle losses. Bastards.

i'm sure there are some out there that take it upon themselves to hunt therians but the thing is most of us are pretty low key unless confronted and then watch out as i'm afraid the hunters would become the hunted in fast order. i'm not overly concerned about it becomeing a popular passtime.
