If you were approached by someone who was just beginging to learn about Witchcraft, what books would you recommend for them to read?

I would suggest " Teen Witch" by Silver RavenWolf. I just finished reading it, and it is easy to understand, as well as having a few spells that you can try. But just to say, for any beginners like me, don't asume that wicca is dark. That is not true

It is worth considering magazines which cover a broad spectrum on the paranormal, it is highly likely to find references to Wicca/Druid societies, events and reports covering a follower of the aforementioned. It can be a first stepping stone for anybody wishing to inform/educate themselves in this craft. Sigrid

I get correspondence from the Seminary of Wicca, that offers home schooling courses where you can learn specific information or you can take a course to become a Priestess. The courses are pretty resonable in price and you can take as long as you want to complete b/c it's all done in the home. That might be one way to forward someone new to Wicca to learn. I'm also with Celestin that I would recommend most of Silver RavenWolf's books just for the fact that she puts things into terms that anyone can understand.
