A swan is not quite a donor but donors do come from them. It is a term for someone who is not otherkin but knows about and supports them.

I saw this term on another e-Group site. What are considered Swans? It was put like this... Donor/Swans Is this another name for Donor? Acacia I can help you out here, the following are the proper defintions of the term "SWAN" : SWAN : a non-vampyre/sanguine lover who is knowledgeable about the Sanguinary. SWAN (White) : people who cannot accept their lover's lifestyle and who consistently try to get them out of it. SWAN (Black) : a mundane lover who accepts the vampyre lifestyle but does not feel the draw to become sanguine. All the info comes from the Lexicon from the Vampyre Almanac 1998 - 1999 Edition. I hope this helps and I am always willing to assit in any way possible.
