New Theme + Sanguinarius v5 Work Completed
(see the link below for previous updates)

Thanks to Jarandhel Dreamsinger’s super-awesome, mad ninja theme-finding skills, we have a new theme, Mantra, which is even more suitable than the Raindrops/Boots theme I was using. I’d even say it’s perfectly suitable! This theme also has more widget areas and also doesn’t break the video player. You’ll probably notice that the new site looks eerily like the previous incarnation (v4). I think I’m going to go with that, at least for a while. I’m happy with it. I hope you are, too.
Added the Recommended Media, for fiction and nonfiction books, movies and documentaries that won’t nauseate you. Yeah. I could list my entire collection, but that’s not what this page is here for. Real vampire, nonfiction, and realistic fiction titles. You can find out more information (or purchase something that interests you) by clicking through to Amazon.com or Lulu.com.
Added my book, Dictionary of Vampspeak, and a couple of my stores to the “Merch & More” section. Dreamland Gallery is not there yet. I am planning on redoing it with osCommerce rather than ZenCart (not happy with it) in the near future, but I want to get Sanguinarius completely transferred over to my WordPress CMS first.
Worked on adding descriptions and titles to the links in the navigation menu at the top of the page. Not everything has all the info yet, but I’m working on it at a mad vampire pace tonight because I’m trying to get done in time for New Year’s Eve. I know the descriptions don’t show up in this theme, but they will be there if I switch themes in the future, and I can switch them on if I have that option. The only section I have not completed is the separate Articles Library subsections (in the menu bar).
If anyone who registers on Sanguinarius has any trouble logging in, PLEASE send me an email to let me know! I’m at sangivamp (at) gmail (dot) com — just replace the (at) and (dot) with a @ and . and you got it.
Added Linking to Sanguinarius with some graphics and urls for those who would like to use a banner or button to link to Sanguinarius or one of the related sites. Pretty graphics…I made them myself. Come and check them out, even if you don’t wanna link to anything.
I believe that the only major page not yet added is our Second Life Sanguinarius Community Center page. And that is only because it is seriously out of date and needs an almost complete overhaul, with new pictures, new text, new location, everything. That is going to take some time to redo, and is actually a side project I’m wanting to work on soon. So, if it were JUST a matter of adding the page to WordPress, it would get done tonight and in time for our official Grand Opening in the new year.
Apart from a few links and URLs in a few articles that need checked/updated, I pronounce Sanguinarius v5 officially open!
And I finished a day early, which is a good thing because tomorrow evening, I am going over to my mother’s and celebrate New Year’s. I hope you all enjoy yours and don’t drink and drive; go with a group and pick a designated driver or someone who will refrain from drinking to drive you home — or call a cab.
