I'm trying to change my major from network administration to political science. The problem is that the PS program isn't accredited yet. I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that they will procure the necessary accreditation before next term.
I've grown increasingly discouraged with the computer job market. Not only is the field becoming flooded with US college students, but many of the existing jobs are being outsourced. I didn't have much luck finding work with an associates degree, so I've been working towards my bachelors; however, by the time I graduate, employers will probably be requiring masters degrees. I don't want to travel down this path anymore, so I'm hoping that I can switch to political science, which is a little more stable (not to mention something I hold a deep interest in)
But everything hinges on the course being accredited because the last thing I want to do is spend the next four years of my life (not to mention a good chunk of money) taking classes that won't actually be accepted anywhere should I decide to continue my education.
So once again, my fingers, toes, eyes, legs, arms, and anything else capable of being crossed is crossed.

Good luck on your choices!! My brother-in-law has a BA in PS... he works at a warehouse.
