If money and time were not an object, where would you like to travel? Why?

I've always dreamed of visiting New Orleans, but obviously that won't be happening for a LONG time. I just loved everything I read about that city, it's history and culture fascinated me. I guess the runner up would be a tour of the UK. Mostly to visit all the haunted sites I've read about over the years.

I was there a long time ago visiting an adopted family. My dad was stationed in Fort Polk just befoer I was born, and my parents lived down there for a few years before moving back to Chi-Town. I guess you can say I origianlly come from a tiny little town called Hicks, LA. Yes it's actually called Hicks, about 20 miles outside Alexandria. Anyway, when I was about 16 or so, we went down for a visit and I got to see New Orleans. It was the first time I tried Gator too...
I funniest thing I saw, and my mom has the pictures, is in the French Quarters there a HUGE white church. Just outside the church is what looks like a town square... I think this is on Burbon street, there's an outside flea market... but anyway, just outside the church there were fortune tellers set up, some reading stones, others laying out cards. I just thought it was a good picture. I also took pictures of the cop cars, their symbol is the cresant moon with a single star, very voodoo'y down there... I loved it!

Oh I didn't say where I would like to travel hee hee... Funny but it's Colorado. I have no idea why. I mean there are plenty of gorgeous places to go on my list. London, Ireland, Denmark, but for some reason I have a calling to go to Colorado. Maybe my destiny awaits me there. I'm hoping in maybe 2 years, I will be taking a family vacation there. I missed out a couple years ago. I had the entire vacation planned, even had the money, and James ended up having surgery. So the trip was cancelled. But I will make it there, and I hope I find whatever I'm looking for.
