Most have admitted that their body is human and their soul is some type of Kin....my question is this......Why use a human body?

using a human body allows us to experience death. once we were immortal and could not die of age, so we transfered our souls into humans. most would like to go back to being an immoral entity, but we lack the knolege to do so.

I can think of several theories.
1) There was something specific we were supposed to accomplish here.
2) We were curious.
3) This was the best available for learning something we wanted to learn.
4) We don't have as much choice as we might assume about which body we end up in. <g>

Might it be that we don't need the body but without it we might scare the locals?

I don't know exactly why but I feel that I chose this form for some reason or other.

Maybe there are more souls then there are suitable bodies...
A surplus that is dealt with by using human bodies..enough humans around!

Now that makes sense. But its a shame to have chosen such a fraile shell to spend time in.

Oh, come on...there are only a few billion humans in the world. Have you any idea how many bugs there are? Or fish, if you insist on a larger animal? Nah, it's not because there's a lack of other bodies.

I don't know that humans are really that unique in the grand scheme of things. If we ever manage to find sentient life on other worlds, I guess we'll find out for sure, then.

They're comfy? Mine isnt as bendy as I'd like, but I get to dye my hair all I want, and dress it up in pretty colors. *bounces around* And, maybe, we wouldn't be able to have all the fun we can in these bodies. I mean, if our actual meant for bodies didn't have legs or something, how the heck are we supposed to bounce on trampolines? Or if they were armless, how could we give hugs? Fragile though they are, they're pretty versatile.

Maybe the otherkin races died out centuries ago and so our souls have no other place to go.

Except for the way some kin-types completely ignore the laws of physics, if you put them into a material body, sure. I think the answer must be something else, personally.
