A friend and I are curious about the percentage of Kin who have a stomach disorders; ulcers, gastritis, gallbladder troubles, Crohn's, IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome).
If you have one of the above disorders or something different would you post and tell us what type of kin you are and when your problems started?

Well, as most of you know I'm a newly awakened Dragon, and as far as ailments go I was diagnosed with diabetes around 1999. I could have been diabetic all my life and just didn't know it. Diabetes runs rampant in my family, both my Grandparents on my father's side have it. (grandfather lost both legs due to diabetes). My Uncle on my father's side also has diabetes.
I don't really know if it's a trait of my being Dragon Kin or not...I'd vote for or not tho.

I am new to this "Kin" but honestly feel akin to all life, in all forms and sizes. I myself have IBS and have since I was a small child. I had my gall bladder removed last summer which has only led to further IBS related "fun" hehe.
I am a firm believer that the body is a computer (if you'll excuse the analogy) and the mind/soul is the operator. If the mind/soul are clogged, or the genetic lines are heavy with certain ailments/afflictions, then the computer can get bogged down with the same ailments/afflictions. What i mean quite simply is, if you choose to believe that you no longer will be prone to diabetes just because it "runs in the family" perhaps you can put that nasty bit of family lineage to rest?
I am trying my best to rid myself of the notion that I carry certain genetic traits just because my fore fathers did. I hope that in this attempt, my future generations will not have their genetic strands imprinted with my disabilities etc. Make sense? Probably not hehe, but I had to share!

I'm a therian and former sang vamp.
I have a hiatal hernia. It was diagnosed when I was 18 or 19. (If you're unsure what this is, the top part of the stomach protrudes above the diaphragm muscle, which causes the top valve not to close properly--thus, acid reflux).
I also have a fatigue disorder which has not been diagnosed.
I've noted that otherkin tend to be innate psychics. The medical problems you're noticing occur in psi genetic lines, not only in 'kin ones...while nearly all 'kin are psi, not all or even most psis are 'kin.
So, you're looking at a larger category that has these kinds of health problems...'kin just happen to fit inside it.

Im not sure wat i am yet, but i have some idea. but when i stated to awaken, my heart started to ammit a sharp pain and pierced though my body only when i start to feel joy and happiness, but first when it happend i went to the doctors and he said i was perfectly fine. so im not sure wat its about.

That pain in your heart is your feeling centers coming alive, your heart chakra firing on all cylenders as it were. The pain _I_ feel in that area is due to a nasty psychic scar left by a spirit entity.
It's gotten a lot better over the years, now, though.

I had gallstones and kidney problems and I'm a psi/sang vamp. I do only seem to have problems with my health when I can't maintain my energylevels.

Me Me Raises Hand!!I have had severe probs had to have my gall blader removed, have gastratis, esophogitis, Gerd and hyatal hernia and acid reflux ..yeah I had mega probs last year .. there somewhat under control now..
I have a close friend in ky .. Vamp has stomach probs acid reflux too

I generally don't have health issues, but I do get sick about once a year for a few days. No digestive system problems other than the fact that normal food is sorta just thrown through it, and my stomach goes: "You call that food."
