Clothing trends and styles come and go, but each of us have our favorites. What gothic clothing trend or style has remained your favorite over the years?

Different things look good on different people. Personally though, I've always been preferential to semi-androgyny.

Personally I've always been a denin and leather man with that in mind I'll admit that I dont know much about Gothic clothing. In all honesty I've seen whats out there and I cant really see myself pulling it off.I am however a huge fan of period clothing and the period that I am most comfortable with is from 1840's-early 1900's.I think this is more do to my belief that I may have lived and prospered during that era than anything else.I've had my photo taken at those old timey photo places we've all seen and when I strap a pistol on or put on a duster it creates a very familiar feeling in me. :PPEACE OUT

black is beautifull, lolz its so damn easy to combine with black. I still have jeans and t-shirts and alike.. I am still the same old me when it comes to cloths but ..generally black. And for jackets and shoes... leather... I won't go for synthetic stuff!
I don't wear jewelry, I got a ring though that I wear at times, its cheap ass stuff but its a nice design. A chaos pyramid! Only "jewelry" I wear daily is my watch, one of those that "charge" during your moving around. Black leather with Silver watch...my style!

I have a mix of clothes, I do a lot of different combinations. One is that I wear black, slightly baggy jeans, a black no sleeve shirt as an undershirt and a large, open black shirt with red flames on it, with a black ballcap and studded bracers.

I have usually preferred an old school goth look or just all black, but as I find myself getting older, I find my tastes are changing to more classical lines although I still prefer dark clothing in the colors of black, purple and red.

Most of the looks I like are combinations of several catagories... for example, mixing industrail and celtic styles, or victorian and bondage. the styles can't contrast too heavily without looking tacky... unless you're going for that torn-up, gothic, androdgeny slut look (which can be quite flattering on some people

You know what I miss?? Some old school punk... Now mind you old school punk for me is late 80's early 90's, when grunge was just strating to become popular and there WAS a difference between the Cure and Metallica, they would have never been heard on the same station back then.
I remember dying my hair various colours, torn up fishnets over red tights. 20 hole docks and chocker chain necklaces.
When a mohawk was really a mohawk and not what these Weaser punks are wearing these days.
I miss black makeup and grandma's clothes LOL!!
Has anyone been in Hot Topic? Yeah it's a cool store, but do you know how much crap we got fro dressing like that in public? We had to sneak to "Belmont and Clark" and shop at the Alley known for odd punk clothes and funky sex toys. And now, you can go to your local mall and pre-torn clothing. I had to tear my own!
